Meet The Doctors
Dr. Melanie Schlauder is a member of the Academy of Pediatrics and an active member of the Florida Emergency Responder Team.
She received her M.S. in microbiology and worded as a microbiologist in Los Angeles before attending medical school with her husband at Ohio State University. She completed her pediatric residency training at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. FL in 2008.
After training, Dr. Schlauder moved to Boston and was blessed to enjoy two years at home with her young daughter and newborn son while her husband completed fellowship training in Dermatopathology. She then joined a large practice in Tampa as an attending pediatrician in their acute care clinic.
She joined a team at Baldwin Pediatrix in June 2011 after relocating to the Panama City area and has now chosen Celebration as the place she wants to raise her family! Dr. Schlauder, her husband and 3 children are very excited to be a part of our wonderful community!
Dr. Schlauder and her husband feel called to medical missions and are active in their church community. They have served on medical mission trips to South Africa and China. She loves to watch her children sing and dance and looks forward to date nights with her husband.
Dr. Lisa Utsey
Dr. Lisa Utsey is a board certified Pediatrician who has been practicing medicine for over 15 years. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Utsey received her medical degree at the University of Florida and has practiced in Florida ever since. She owned her own practice in Longwood for 10 years. She has since decided that she wanted to relocate and call Celebration her home.
Dr. Utsey is very passionate about pediatrics, and in her free time she truly enjoys teaching and medical mission work.
